B. 'Crenatodaigremontianum'. Artificial hybrid.

Identified by Stephen Jankalski as a horticultural hybrid between B. crenatum and B. daigremontianum. Created by the Botanic Gardens in Lisbon, Portugal. It is has the characteristic 'Mother of Thousands' look. It has bright broad green leaves and auriculated leaf bases, both features are quite distinctive. The collection of B. 'Crenatodaigremontianum' in cultivation is from ISI 95-36 (HBG 73004) in Cact. & Succ. Journ. of Amer. 67(2): 100, fig. 19 (1995) originating from a plant collected by O. Olsen in the garden of a hotel in Toliara, Madagascar.
